Outdoorsman's Devotional: 90 Days in the Fields and Stream of Faith

Dr. Philip Pitts was born in the Midwest in 1951. He was saved as a young man and, after high school, attended Baptist Bible College in Springfield, Missouri. After graduation, he moved to Central Florida serving under Dr. Jewel Smith at Temple Baptist Church in Orlando, Florida. There he met the love of his life, Julie. They married and moved south to Haines City, Florida, to join the ministry of Dr. Mickey Carter at Landmark Baptist Church. Dr. Pitts served faithfully for the next 51 years, wearing many hats. While raising six children, he served as principal, professor, and bus director. In addition to his love for ministry and family, he also loved the great outdoors. These devotions are testimonies from a faithful servant of the Lord and reveal the blessings of a man dedicated to faith, family, and fishing!
